Mia Hagstrom is the first winner of Ladies Singles newly opened category in Limassol. In a superb final in Sporting Club on Sunday 7/2/2010  achieved a 6-3, 6-3  victory versus a very good finalist Ludmila Gutu. The final had nothing less to perform compared to the Men's Singles Finals. All spectators admitted that both ladies could easily play and compete in equal terms our players in Men's Singles Category.

Power, Passion and Attacking  shots  were Mia's weapons  to reach victory against  safe  and secure shots played by Ludmila. A tactic of course that could cost to the Finnish player as she lost first games in both sets but she finally worked it out and managed to lift up  the trophy without losing a  set.

What we all hope is that Ladies category should be quickly grown with as much players possible entering in order to have such a competitive tournament as the first was. Good job my ladies!!!
